My name is Jennifer Fuson, and I am a Reading and Social Studies 4th grade teacher at Woodlawn Elementary School. I was born and raised on a farm in Woodlawn. As a child, I attended Woodlawn Elem. and graduated Northwest High. In Dec. of 1997, I proudly walked the stage of APSU and received my K-8 teaching degree. The 2022-23 school year will be my 25th year to teach school. I have taught 2nd-5th grades, and RTI for K-5th grade. In Dec. of 2008 I earned my Master's Degree from Walden University in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. I am married to Sheriff John Fuson. We have 3 children, a son-in-law, 1 grandchild and 10 pets. My family loves to spend time at the lake boating and fishing and just hanging out together. Some activities that I enjoy are reading, swimming, and going for walks. I love being a teacher because I enjoy working with children and helping them to learn. I am very happy to be a Woodlawn Bulldog.
