Greetings! My name is Cynthia L. Smith, and I am the Response to Intervention (RTI) Interventionist for grades K-5 at Woodlawn Elementary School. I also serve as a Content Mentor and Diversity Mentor for CMCSS.

The 2022-2023 school year will be my 18th year with CMCSS. I joined the district in 2005, after graduating from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I earned my Masters in Reading in 2012 from Austin Peay State University. During my time with CMCSS, I have taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I have also served as an Elementary Academic Coach.

As a child, I began my formal education at Woodlawn Elementary School in 1988. I am so excited to again be a Woodlawn Bulldog!
