My name is Jennifer Fuson, and I am a Reading and Social Studies 4th grade teacher at Woodlawn Elementary School. I was born and raised on a farm in Woodlawn. As a child, I attended Woodlawn Elem. and graduated from Northwest High. In Dec. of 1997, I proudly walked the stage of APSU and received my K-8 teaching degree. The 2024-25 school year will be my 27th year to teach school. I have taught 2-5 grades, and RTI for K-5. In Dec. of 2008, I earned my Master's Degree from Walden University in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. I am married to Sheriff John Fuson. We have 3 children, 1 son-in-law, 1 grandchild and 9 pets. My family loves to spend time at the lake boating and fishing and just hanging out together. Some activities that I enjoy are reading and going for walks. I love being a teacher because I enjoy working with children and watching their self-confidence grow as they travel through the educational process. I love being a Woodlawn Bulldog.
