Hello! I earned my bachelor's degree from Austin Peay State University, my Master of Education in Reading and Literacy from Walden University, and my Educational Specialist degree in Reading from Arkansas State University. I taught third grade for seven years and one year of Title I Reading at Liberty Elementary School. After my eighth year of teaching elementary, I began my middle school career at New Providence Middle School. I taught middle school for 13 years before deciding to return to elementary. This is my 4th year teaching at Woodlawn Elementary School, and I love it! I teach 5th-grade reading and social studies. I enjoy reading, hiking, kayaking, and spending quality time with my family.
